This Foundation is a non-profit NGO whose objective is “The provision of an unconditional basic income (UBI – Unconditional Basic Income), extraordinary expenses for the construction of basic infrastructure to poor families in developing countries, mainly in rural areas. ; support for teaching basic hygiene measures, child dental care, visual and auditory control; the preservation of local culture and traditions of ethnic minorities by promoting trade in their crafts and agricultural products at advantageous prices; protection of stray dogs and cats through vaccination campaigns, sterilization and construction of dog shelters.

Welcome to Our Mission: Creating Kitchens and Bathrooms in Rural Areas
In our quest for a fairer and more equitable world, UBI Swiss is committed to providing concrete assistance to rural communities in developing countries such as Vietnam and Bolivia. One of our most prominent initiatives is the creation of kitchens and toilets in these remote areas, where living conditions are often difficult and resources limited.
Our vision: We envision a world where every individual, regardless of their place of birth or socio-economic status, has access to basic facilities that improve their quality of life and promote their health and well-being. We firmly believe that providing adequate kitchens and bathrooms is a crucial step towards realising this dream.

Our team of community development, engineering and public health experts works tirelessly to implement projects that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Vision and Hearing Screening: Detecting and Treating Problems Early
Vision and hearing problems can significantly affect a child’s development. That’s why we work to ensure that all children have access to regular vision and hearing screenings. We detect and treat problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and hearing loss early, ensuring that no child is left behind due to undiagnosed vision or hearing difficulties.
Preserving Cultural Identity: Supporting Ethnic Minorities through Fair Trade

Joining Efforts for Animal Welfare: Our Fight Against Stray Dogs and Cats
At UBI Swiss, we are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of all living beings, including stray dogs and cats facing difficult conditions around the world. We recognise the importance of addressing this problem in a comprehensive manner, so we have implemented dedicated vaccination, sterilisation and sheltering programmes to help mitigate the suffering of these vulnerable animals.
Vaccination Campaigns: Protecting Animals and the Community
Communicable diseases pose a threat to both stray animals and human communities. Our vaccination campaigns offer protection against common diseases such as rabies, not only safeguarding the health of animals, but also reducing the risk of transmission to humans. We work closely with local veterinarians and authorities to carry out these campaigns in an effective and sustainable way.
Sterilisation: Controlling the Population in a Humane and Ethical Manner
Overpopulation of stray animals is a serious problem leading to unnecessary suffering and the spread of disease. Our sterilisation programmes seek to address the root of the problem by humanely and ethically controlling the stray dog and cat population. We work to educate communities about the importance of sterilisation and offer these services for free or at affordable prices.
Shelter Construction: Providing Shelter and Care
We understand that many stray dogs lack safe and adequate shelter. That is why we are committed to building shelters that provide a safe and comfortable place for these animals to find temporary shelter. Our shelters are designed to meet the highest animal welfare standards, offering shelter, food and veterinary care to those in need.
