Position: Collaborator for Training and Educational Support, minimum 3 months,📍Guinea Bissau
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated volunteer to support three primary and secondary school teachers in learning basic computer skills and managing school records. In addition, the role involves data collection activities on students’ housing conditions, childcare support and training of young women in the village.
Main Responsibilities:
- Basic computer training for teachers:
- Using a computer with a Windows operating system.
- Internet connection and browser navigation (Chrome or similar).
- Using email (sending and receiving messages with attachments).
- Inserting data into pre-existing tables in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Use of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT or DeepSeek.
- Student registration management:
- Creating and updating a student table/record.
- Search and digitization of paper records and vaccination certificates.
- Collecting data on students’ housing conditions:
- Visit to students’ homes accompanied by a teacher.
- Data collection on: water well, latrine, type of kitchen, roof conditions, type of flooring, presence of photovoltaic system, animal husbandry, etc.
Child support:
- Care for preschool children (5-10 children) during school hours.
- If you have a diploma in early childhood education, you can train young local women to be educators under the supervision of an elementary school teacher.
