We are a non-profit organization dedicated to building healthy kitchens for families in extreme poverty in Vietnam and Bolivia, giving them an opportunity to live without the dangers of toxic smoke.

Our mission is clear: to build suitable kitchens that reduce toxic smoke in homes and contribute to a healthier and safer environment. We believe everyone deserves to live in a home free of pollutants that affect their health and well-being.

What do we do?

1. Our Solution:

UBI Swiss addresses this problem by building adequate and efficient kitchens in rural homes. These kitchens are designed to drastically reduce toxic smoke emission and improve ventilation. We use sustainable technologies and materials to ensure our solutions are durable and ecological.

2. Measuring and Monitoring PM2.5:

We understand the importance of measuring the impact of our interventions. Therefore, in every project, we implement monitoring systems to measure PM2.5 levels before and after installing the new kitchens. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of our solutions.

3. Education and Training:

We offer educational workshops on the use and maintenance of the new kitchens, ensuring their long-term sustainability.

What are PM2.5?

PM2.5 refers to suspended particles in the air with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less, about 30 times smaller than a human hair. These fine particles can penetrate deep into the respiratory system and enter the bloodstream, causing a variety of health problems including respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
