Position: Training and Educational Support Collaborator

Minimum 3 months | 📍 Guinea Bissau

We are looking for a motivated volunteer to support three primary and secondary school teachers in learning basic computer skills and managing school records. Additionally, the position involves data collection activities regarding students' living conditions, child care support, and training young women in the village.

Main Responsibilities:

Basic computer training for teachers:

• Use of a computer with Windows operating system.
• Internet connection and browser navigation (Chrome or similar).
• Use of email (sending and receiving messages with attachments).
• Data entry into pre-existing tables in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Use of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT or DeepSeek.

Student enrollment management:

• Creation and updating of a student table/file.
• Search and digitization of paper records and vaccination certificates.

Data collection on students' living conditions:

• Visits to students' homes accompanied by a teacher.
• Data collection on: water well, latrine, kitchen type, roof condition, floor type, presence of photovoltaic system, animal husbandry, etc.

Childcare assistance:

• Care of preschool-age children (5-10 children) during school hours.
• If you have a diploma in early childhood education, you can train young women in the area to be educators under the supervision of a primary school teacher.
